Mark Dubbeldam: Best place for used records in Rome that I visited. One catch: you need to ask them for their used records so you are taken upstairs as at the entrance are the new records. Upstairs is a huge selection, saw some really rare jazz records. Don’t expect those will be cheap. Friendly people as well.

Now in the era of streaming it has become one of the capital's reference points for vinyl records, in relation to which there has been a rediscovery both for the type of sound quality and for the value and the charm that owning these musical supports. They also sell music CDs and movie DVDs. It is possible to order items not present in the catalogue. The shop is well-kept and obviously has a vintage charm.The prices are medium-high, but always accessible, because vinyls, CDs and DVDs have become collector's items, in this express order, which also concerns their value. It is therefore also a question of 'reprints' for amateurs and connoisseurs. I have to say though that Amazon and others have cheaper prices.

Ed: A brilliant shop with a wide yet well-curated selection of dance-oriented and experimental records. There’s a lot of new stock on offer here alongside some nice stacks of pre-loved bits to get stuck into for a good few hours. Ultrasuoni will forever be my first stop for all future trips to Rome! Very nice selection of everything left of center, all artists and labels that matter are represented here, although mostly newer stuff. They have some stuff for sale but the trays aren’t really well positioned when you have the bend for the lower compartments. Small selection of tapes and merch for the collector. Not overly priced, but nice records for nice prices. Equipped, knowledgeable and friendly personnel!

Il Grande Zoltar: Sono stato in questo negozio in occasione del firma copie di Garbo. Negozio incredibile! Strapieno di dischi, gadget e magliette di ogni tipo. Loro sono simpatici e alla mano. Consigliatissimo per l'ultimo CD del nostro cantante preferito, così come per la rarità introvabile!

Stunned67: È il negozio che ti fá ritornare agli anni 80, immediatamente ti ricordi di tutti quei negozi di Roma che ti offrivano tanta musica su tutti i supporti, uno su tutti "Disfunzioni Musicali" al quartiere S.Lorenzo.Allo stesso modo, quí si trova tanto usato, di ottima qualitá, prezzi giusti e non esageratamente alti, e soprattutto si spazia dall'Italo disco al metal, dal funky alla new wave, dall' hip pop al garage....di tutto insomma; e poi riviste, gadgets, raritá, picture disc, unofficial live, un'infinità di CD con super offerte nonchè vinili con colonne sonore di manga giapponesi...Per me che ho vissuto gli anni 80 e trascorso un'infinitá di ore dentro questa tipologia di negozi, è sicuramente una bellissima scoperta, dopo tantissimi anni di buio totale. Radiation Records è una tappa obbligatoria per chi ama la musica, sia per le nuove generazioni, sia per gli over 50 come me.
