Francesco Ferrara: Greek Catholic Church. A small corner of the East in Rome.

Carlo Carlevale: 👉🙏👈

Evren Uysal: 🏛 A classical Roman architecture. If you visited Vatican, you don't need to visit there I guess. The church was built in 1577 for use of a Greek College for the formation of Catholic clergy in the Eastern Rite. Construction was patronized by the Pope Gregory XIII and the Jesuit order to promulgated and serve the interests forming a Congregation of the Greeks. In 1872 the church was entrusted to the Congregation for the Oriental Churches. On the 22 February 1962 Pope John XXIII granted it a titular church as a seat for Cardinals.[1] At present the Titulus San Athanasii is held by Lucian Cardinal Mureșan.🏛 Klasik bir Roma mimarisi. Vatikanı ziyaret ettiyseniz bence buraya vakit ayırmak biraz müsrüflük olabilir.

Maria Tanasa Turism Roma (www.turismroma.com): The Church of Sant Atanasio was built between 1580-1583 by Giacomo della Porta, following Pope Gregorius XIII's wish to offer the Greek community a place of worship with the ancient Greek ritual.

Teresa Cardoso: I enjoyed attending the ceremony. The Church is very beautiful.

Ahmed Abouaiana: Enjoy the architecture and construction materials detailing. And think about differences between architectural styles

Riccardo Prosperi: Chiesa bellissima, messa tradizionale e travolgente

Daniela Cristofari: Avvicina al cielo...

Mahlet deneke: I suggested it fo Orthodox wgo live in Italy specially in Rome you can find all service base on Orthodox church

Sam S.: Beautiful church, one of the oldest in Rome!

Henok F. Telila: One of the oldest churchs in Rome!

Vasili Timonen: Mass in the Roman rite is celebrated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 18:45.The church is also used by an Ethiopian Orthodox congregation, who celebrate their Eucharistic liturgy on Sundays at 9:30, the liturgical language being Ge'ez. There is another Liturgy on Thursdays at 17:00, intended for young people.Catholics, whether of the Roman or Ethiopian rites, should not receive Communion at these Eucharists. The Orthodox take this seriously.
