いとひ: It was like a petit study abroad.Everyone was really kind and treated me kindly even though I couldn't speak English very well. Really great place!The age range is quite wide, with the majority being in their 20s, but there were also some in their 50s.If you go to Italy, I highly recommend this place. There seems to be a chain in Milan and Florence, so I'd like to stay someday.Opposite the accommodation, there is a facility called yellow bar, which becomes a club at night and a dining room in the morning. There are pianos and guitars in the basement, and you can sit on the sofa and talk with other residents.It was really really great. We will definitely come again! !Have a nice meeting grazie!!

Mr. Shah: Giving 4 star as the staff was extremely nice and helpful 👍. Hostel is not that great and quite old. Life is small and old. My room was not getting proper wifi. But staff was so nice that i will stay here again. Also location is nice and most of tourist attractions are at a walking distance. They have amazing breakfast and i will suggest to take stay with breakfast. Also locker charge is only 1 euro for 24 hrs which is very cheap. This is good hostel to stay and i recommend it.

Mikael Kim: Very good hostel!!! Highly recommend. It's close to a metro station, a 20-minute walk to the Coliseum, and 30-40 to the trevi fountain. Has good rooms, very private and clean. They had a free dinner every day during my stay, and it was a fantastic way to meet some people. The staff is super cool and 24/7. One of the best hostels that I stayed in.
Ben Millinchip: This a good, mainstream hostel that does what it does well. The location is ok but not amazing - you can walk to the main parts of Rome for sure but it’s not in amongst them. The rooms are good - the pods are a nice touch that gives more privacy than your standard dorm room. It’s clean, tidy and the staff are very friendly. They also organise fun events every evening that are great for solo travellers in particular to meet others. The challenge this place faces is there are other hostels these days that do all this plus are in a better location, building or have developed a better ‘vibe’ - and for a comparable price. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere in Rome.

Soberanis Prado: It is a nice and clean place, I stayed 4 nights, 2 in a 10-person room and 2 in a 5-person room, I liked the 10-person room better, I felt I had more space since every 4 beds is a room, so to speak, and the bathrooms were separate, in the 5 it was a single bathroom.The attention is good, they speak Spanish and English the same, the only thing is that it's expensive, the truth is that I didn't check the prices of other places so I can't compare, I stayed here because the beds are like cabins so you have some privacy, yes I would stay again.On the corner there is a supermarket, delicious restaurants, cafeterias, the station nearby, the Colosseum was walking distance from there.A good hostel in Rome, greetings to Gaby who was very kind 😊

We're Linda & Steve and we moved to Rome with a dream, 2 cats and a Swiss Army knife to start our hostel, The Beehive. Since 1999, we've been welcoming travelers of all ages and countries to our small, cozy, family-owned hostel. Behind the front desk you'll find the owners Linda or Steve or our manager Yuli or one of our rotating volunteers. Our housekeeper Lea keeps our place clean, neat, and tidy. We're located right near Rome's central train station Termini so no need to lug your bags across the city when you first arrive. Whether you're traveling solo, with friends or family, or as a couple, we have a variety of room types to suit a variety of travel styles and budgets: dorm rooms (including female-only dorms) and private rooms with shared or private bathroom. Other areas include our courtyard garden where you can relax at anytime of the day and where we host many events. There's also our cozy lounge for reading and socializing and the use of our communal eat-in kitchen.
Please note that we do not have 24 hour reception. Check-in hours are 09:00-21:00.
We're environmentalists, social justice activists and vegetarians. We don't just talk the talk but extend our beliefs into our business and have been doing so for over two decades. We use recycled paper products, LED lighting, repurpose furniture and more. We host clothing & book swaps, act as a drop-off point for donations to a homeless organization, promote sustainable travel and buying from and supporting local businesses to name a few things we do. Harrison Rogers: I stayed at the Beehive for 5 nights with a mate and we had an absolutely fantastic time! The staff here are super friendly & helpful which made our stay even better! Gabriela & Holly in particular were amazing and they both went out of their way to help make our stay as great as possible. From telling us about the best places to eat & drink, to even taking the time to take us to the beach with friends on their day off! If you’re looking for a friendly & sociable hostel in the heart of Rome this is the place to go! If I ever return to Rome I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again!

Cassandra Bonucelli: . The bed was comfortable and the bathroom shower was good with plenty of hot water.I had a little balcony with french doors, a table and chairs, which was lovely for a cup of coffee in the morning. There is a communal kitchen where you can make your own food, with a fridge to store your supplies. Conad supermarket is within walking distance as is Termini station and the metro, which was very handy. There are activities on at The B which you can participate in or not. Trivia night, pizza night etc. Great way to meet other guests from all over the world, young and old. I imagine the cute courtyard would be a great spot for the activities in the warmer months. The owners, Linda and Steve are very hands on and friendly. Yuli, at the front desk is very welcoming and friendly too. There are volunteers running the activities, Gabby in particular is a fantastic personality and an assest to the business. Easy walking distance to the Colosseum and centro storico but I suggest the metro if you want to go a bit further and for coming home after walking and sightseeing all day. There's lots of restaurants around the hostel, just ask the staff and they'll point you in the right direction. Especially if you're wanting cuisines other than Italian. Linda and Steve also have a bagel business so make sure you try them!I really enjoyed my stay at The Beehive and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend! 10/10Rooms: Basic but very comfortable and clean.Safety: Felt 100% safe in the hostel and the general surrounding area. 'The Sweets' next door has a security gate and a doorman.Walkability: Very close to Termini Station.Food & drinks: Many restaurants closeby and the newish Mercato Centrale at Termini has great food options and a bar.Noteworthy details: Friendly, affordable and a bit quirky.
Dianna Lifanica (ديانا ليفانيكا): Great little hostel. Very friendly hosts and the staff were GREAT. It is very close to the terminal and central to most of the sightseeing attractions.Nearby activities: It is pretty central to wherever you are looking to goWalkability: If you don't mind exploring and walking then you can walk to many of the attractions. However, you need to wear comfortable shoes as the roads or sidewalks are like cobblestone

Dominique De Meyst: Nice, clean hostel, homey atmosphere. I felt at ease just 'hanging out' in the common areas which is certainly not the case in every hostel. Decent kitchen and shared bathroom. There is no secure luggage room, which I think is an amenity every good hostel should have, so 4 stars instead of 5.
Christina Livesay: couldn’t be more convenient, and the owners really go out of their way to provide a fun, social, family-like experience. The menu is vegetarian and vegan friendly, the food is so good; there are social activities and cooking classes… there’s even an app with a map and recommendations to help ensure the guests have a memorable time in Rome. I definitely recommend The Beehive to anyone visiting Rome who is looking for a safe, comfortable, convenient, and fun place to stay.
Sandra Erickson: , but also with a hostel twist. It’s just a great vibe! Linda and Steve are the owners and are extremely hands on. You can tell that this is their love! All of the volunteers that run the place bring their own unique talents. We took a walking tour and it did not disappoint. We were able to see some of the sights we missed. I highly recommend doing the walking tour. We also did a private cooking class with Steve, it was one of my favorite things we did while in Rome. It was very personable and extremely delicious! Both Linda and Steve took time to get to know my husband and I, we enjoyed the conversations and hearing their story. Recommendations made by them were helpful. The location is great, it is so close to Termini Station and that was such a plus as we used it all of the days multiple times. I highly recommend staying at the Beehive if you’re down to earth, do not require room service, and just want a homey feeling. We would absolutely stay again when we get back to Rome.
Carolyn Pohl: pizza most nights of the week! Though I never really took part, there's also a happy hour in the evenings. The hosts, Linda and Steve, as well as the rest of the staff/volunteers are very kind and helpful with anything you might need. The hostel is super close to Termini and makes it very easy to get everywhere, as well as several grocery stores, and lots of restaurants and cafes. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty uncrowded, which I loved. Thank you for hosting me, I had a wonderful stay!

Roberto Schirru: Piccola camera doppia con bagno privato ben pulita. Ottima per un prezzo di circa 25€ a notte. Zona tranquilla nonostante la vicinanza a Termini, a 2 passi dalla stazione ma non troppo e a 20 minuti a piedi dal Colosseo. Consiglio se si vuole evitare di passare in piazza dei 500 quindi i parcheggi della stazione sempre affollati di prendere la parallela a sinistra verso piazza repubblica molto tranquilla.

We went as a family to a private room with a private bathroom that we found comfortable, clean and very spacious.We highlight the friendliness of the staff and the well-kept, clean spaces that are always available to us. We always had breakfast in the bar in the front and it was rich, varied and cheap.
