RAS -: Wonderful shop in Trastevere. Going through the door is entering a magical place. The owner is a charming Argentine man. Kaleidoscopes and hourglasses with original designs and many other items that take you back in time. From my trip to Rome I only bought one thing, a small and precious hourglass that was wrapped with exquisite care. It seems to me an essential visit of that great city.

I entered the Bartolucci shop for the first time years ago and I fell in love with all the little wooden things made with so much love for the little ones and I dreamed of the day when I would become a mother and buy many things for my baby from this shop . The dream came true and I was able to buy the items I wanted. Then Bartolucci closed 💔.But I found the Pinocchio workshop where there were still some objects by Bartolucci and I didn't miss the opportunity to buy other things because they are no longer in production. I am very happy to have original handmade pieces and now museum pieces, pieces that I value so much.I highly recommend the pinocchio workshop, the staff are very attentive, kind and friendly. Everything inside has a value and the prices are right because it's all worked meticulously by hand, in wood, some objects are unique, beautiful pieces, spoiled for choice and then, you're inside a fairy tale, you become a child again to a moment and the heart beats faster and the smile stays on your face for the whole time you're in there.

Rachelle Favis: Went to this shop on the first and last night of our stay in Italy, so we were able to compare this store to others of similar style. If you are looking for authentic, Italian handmade souvenirs to bring home, this should be on your list. The staff were very friendly, helpful and made great suggestions. Also, the prices are very reasonable especially compared to other typical souvenir shops. Just for the experience alone, I would recommend this place.
