Stella Wright: Beautiful hotel, especially from the outside. Lovely large, very clean rooms. However, it's a shame they don't share the same character as the outside. Our room was all grey and as nice as it was, it would have been nice to have an authentic Rome decor. The bathroom was very spacious and beautiful, but all grey. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was simple but very nice and fresh. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant and the staff who looked after the rooms always greeted us with a smile. A short walk and you will find plenty of restaurants and bars. A 2 minute walk, and you can get the hop on-hop off buses which pass very regular and will take you nearer to all the main attractions.

Kimano Barrow: Awesome location! Great room! Excellent service! It’s iconic in more ways than one. The views from the roof bar are amazing!Rooms: Our room was very spacious with a view of the Pantheon dome. Really nice shower which is really important to me. The bed was divine!!!Walkability: You can get to everything you may want to see in thirty minutes. Really a wonderful location for reaching the sites by foot. The real location of Julius Caesar’s murder is like two minutes away!!! And that’s just the beginning.Food & drinks: We had a great gourmet meal and drinks on the roof

Taylor McCown: INCREDIBLE HOTEL AND STAY! I travel and stay in lots of hotels but this is one of the best I’ve stayed I. I highly recommend. This is a 5-Star hotel with a Michelin rated restaurant located off a quiet alley that is a short walk to the Pantheon. Most hotels are located in very busy areas and we appreciated this location as it was quieter and had less foot traffic. It was also a great location as so many of the historic sites are in walking distance.The hotel is incredibly clean and maintained. The staff from start to finish were incredibly kind and helpful. They gave tremendous recommendations for great restaurants that weren’t tourist traps and were in quieter areas and the food was amazing. Upon check-in they had a bottle of Prosecco and a delicious mousse cake waiting for us in our room with a hand-written note congratulating us on our anniversary. We also had a tour that left before breakfast opened and they put together a breakfast o-go box for us so we could have breakfast. Staff went above and beyond to help. There is a beautiful terrace with umbrella covered seating that overlooks the city and we really enjoyed breakfast on the terrace.We still have two more nights here but couldn’t help but write a review as it has been a great experience. Can’t recommend this hotel enough and can’t imagine staying anywhere else next time we come back to Rome!

Mike Eye: If you want to be treated like royalty and be pampered? Stay at this five star hotel. Service was excellent and professional. Restaurants were great and the rooftop bar is something to see.

Jeff R: This hotel is worth every penny that you pay for it. It is truly the essence of what a 5 star hotel is meant to be. Everything from the magnificent updated rooms, staff, lobby, restaurants sets the standard by which all 5 star hotels should strive to be. We will never stay at another hotel in Rome, and will return to Splendide Royale whenever we are there.

Chanel Grant: I highly recommend making a reservation for breakfast at Aroma if you’re unable to get in for dinner. The view is simply amazing! Overall, I think the hotel is in a great location and would recommend it. However, we chose to stay in the apartment which I wouldn’t recommend. It was hard to get service when needed and it’s about 400m away from the hotel in a residential area and secluded area so you forgo the luxury hotel feel.
