Simone Curreli: che presentava un logo di brand famoso.Un opera sicuramente mirabile, ma che ho ritenuto fuori contesto, essendo praticamente l'unico pezzo del piano non appartenente al periodo romano.

Elle Townsend: Really enjoyed this museum. We went quite early in the day and there was very little queue. The museum layout is a bit confusing because of the shape of the building. I think we may have missed some bits, but I am sure we could have asked for directions as there were a lot of staff around. The cafe on the terrace is lovely, great place to stop for a coffee - just need to show your ticket to go back in!Some really interesting exhibits and felt like we received a real education on Roman history, well displayed and well communicated. We went under the Roma pass - so very good value!Would recommend!

Vatican Museums: what do users think?

Raúl Fernández López: The amount of works of art that the Vatican Museums collect is impressive. Objects, paintings, sculptures, tapestries...The negative note is the number of people who visit it. Despite having the controlled capacity, it is excessive. At times it becomes unpleasant to visit the museum. Even so, once in a lifetime you should visit it.

Thomas Havet: Lots to see but not suitable for buggies and wheelchairsVisited on Weekday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Yes …

Richard Phillips: Well worth it.But take a good guideVisited on Weekday Wait time 10–30 min Reservation recommended Yes …

Nicole Melia: Three-hour queue to enter at 12. A sultry day with groups of cruise passengers and tourists from all over the world. But once you enter, you are dazzled by the magnificence of this one-of-a-kind place. Three hours is not enough to see it in its entirety. The Sistine Chapel absolutely deserves more time to be admired since they don't let you stop for more than a few minutes. To visit absolutely. Book your visit months in advance 💖

Mihaela Pirvu: Impressive museums for the number of exponents and the beauty.Without a guide I don't think I would have made it.Definitely to do several times to understand it better.

L. WENG: Located in the Ponte area of Piazza Sant'Apollinare Square, tens of meters away from Navona Square, it is one of the four Roman National Museums. This building was once the official residence of the Spanish ambassador. Marco Sittico Altemps bought it and it became the Italianized family residence, hence the name. It is now one of four complexes of the Roman National Museum. The museum has three floors. The first Sunday of each month is a free day. You don’t need to queue up. You can get tickets directly at the entrance, and you can store bags in the cabinet for free at the entrance. Those who are interested in ancient Greek and Roman mythology are worth visiting, including many sculptures of heroes and gods in ancient Greek mythology, including Apollo, Athena, Aphrodite, Dionysus, Demeter Er, Hercules and his twelve exploits, etc.

Luca Banchi: The building is beautiful and well maintained. There is a good collection, although I would have expected many more pieces. The cloister is beautiful, as is the loggia inside, that alone is worth a visit.

Anna Luigia Fioramonti: Palazzo del '400, behind Piazza Navona, beautiful and perfectly preserved. Currently one of the 4 seats of the Roman national museum ... a real gem, little known ... but which deserves to be discovered and experienced for the many statues of Greek and Roman origin from the collections of the noble palaces of the Ludovisi boncompagni or the family altemps ... a curiosity ... in the small but suggestive chapel, in the 19th century, the marriage between D Annunzio and Arduini was celebrated !! Ticket euro 8.00 and free on the first Sunday of the month!A must see both for the beauty of the works on display and for the stupendous noble palace!!

Consigliata!

Viktoria Aleksandrova: It is surprising that this building is practically indistinguishable from the neighboring ones. But when you get inside, you find yourself in another dimension. Even time slows down there. And the number of works of art makes your head spin! I highly recommend a visit. Even on a day off for a moderate fee, you find yourself practically alone with another century.

Angela Basandella: Bellissima galleria, uno spettacolo per gli occhi.Centinaia di quadri di artisti importanti o meno....ho scoperto qui un artista Jan Brueghel che mi ha particolarmente colpito per le opere minuziose e colorate.
