Sarah G: A welcoming, yoga studio. If you’re familiar with yoga poses and want to experience a practice on vacation, I would recommend this beautiful studio. The staff was knowledgeable and welcoming to English speakers. The class was in Italian, which was lovely to hear and I was able to follow the instructor visually. What a gift while in Rome!

Natalie Edwards: I have been doing yoga at Zem since a friend introduced me to the studio in 2018. As an expat, it has provided a warm, welcoming community and the yoga classes have improved my strength and balance. It’s wonderful to see the mix of students and instructors — American, Italian, Australian, British, Dutch… Somehow, the classes strike a balance between offering both rigorous and restorative exercise. A big thank you is also owed to Amity and the Zem instructors for offering classes during the pandemic and Italy’s many lockdowns, helping keep us all sane during the weeks and months when we couldn’t leave our houses. Highly recommended.

Kathinka L: I’ve been going to Zem regularly since 2016 and I'm so thankful it has seen me through my years in Rome. The teachers are absolutely fantastic, they normally ask the students if there's anything they would like to work on at the beginning of the class, and the way they incorporate those suggestions into the most beautiful flows is really amazing to watch. They're also incredibly warm with super uplifting and positive energy, and the support they gave to the yoga community in Rome during the pandemic is a testament to what wonderful and dedicated people they are. The customer service is also great. The international atmosphere at the studio has made me feel at home in a city where not a lot of things are in English and I couldn't recommend it more to beginners and advanced yogis alike. I've brought lots of my friends here and recommend it to everyone!
Lauren H.: This is a FABULOUS studio. I practiced at zem three of the five days we were in Rome with a different teacher each time. They were all spectacular. Where they were the same was in the strength of their individual practices and, more importantly, in their abilities to instruct. Lauren Shiner: I went to their yoga today at 1:30 and wow! what a great workout. She really knows her stuff. She did the class in English for me and even after 22 years of yoga, I learned a few new things. Haven't done yoga in 2 months and I was sweating buckets. I'm sure she modifies the class though. They have drop-in class rates, too.
Steve Double: A lovely little studio run by the very excellent Nadine who also teaches some of the classes. Her Saturday session was a perfect mix of asana and philosophy; a well rounded, challenging and integrated class suitable for all levels. Go!
Michela Schirru: I had the pleasure of practicing at this studio for a couple of weeks while visiting Rome. I highly recommend the studio. It’s small and intimate and I learned so much from Nadine who really is a wonderful teacher. It was such a nice experience and I will definitely go back when I’m next in Rome.

Ho capito da subito che YogaArte era la possibilità di intraprendere un percorso, partendo dalla consapevolezza del corpo per arrivare, forse un giorno, ad una consapevolezza più sottile. Maria Chiara Di Stefano: Dei tre centri Ryoga penso sia il centro più suggestivo. Bellissima location, bellissime le travi in legno al soffitto, bellissimo il dehors tra i palazzi di trastevere. La sede è molto bella, come del resto gli altri centri. È tutto curato nei minimi dettagli, tutto pulito e tenuto benissimo. Ci sono due sale grandi che all’occorrenza diventano una unica, un’altra sala un po’ più piccola e c’è anche un piano di sotto in cui non ho capito bene cosa ci sia, ma credo ci sia uno spazio adibito a lezioni private, massaggi ayurvedici e simili. La gentilezza dello staff è sempre il sinonimo di qualità di questo meraviglioso posto!

Sicuramente una delle scuole di formazione più indicate per imparare la tradizione millenaria che lo yoga offre, senza fermarsi solo alle asana che sono davvero una piccola parte di un mondo da scoprire. Consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che hanno voglia di fare qualcosa di bello per se stessi e di cambiare qualcosa nella loro vita, di recarsi in questo centro, solo così potrete capire di cosa parlo.
