Aurora: Abbiamo preso un aperitivo sulla stupenda terrazza del ristorante Ambrosia dalla quale si riesce anche a vedere san Pietro. I drink erano ottimi e così anche l’accompagnamento composto da mini tramezzini, patatine, olive, focaccia, frutta fresca, noccioline…Siamo stati serviti da Eugenio che non solo ci ha servito in modo professionale, ma ci ha anche raccontato molte curiosità sulla città e ci ha fornito consigli su luoghi da visitare. Con la sua simpatia e gentilezza ci ha fatto passare una bellissima serata in questo bellissimo posto!

Foil Majestic: Absolutely fantastic. I went to a Michelin star restaurant a few nights before Antico Arco. I preferred the meal at Antico Arco. Particularly the scallops and the ravioli. Seafood here is exceptional. Go for a nice walk after the meal to see the beautiful park with the best view of Rome.

But the food and service set a new bar.Best salad in Rome, which we asked for off the menu. Incredible seafood Risotto. A few culinary experiments they delivered off the cuff. And cocktails that were made with care. This restaurant will inspire you to make a return visit.

We still decided to try it, and it was fantastic. All of our food was very good. We were having a great time… HOWEVER! The bill came, and the man who came to take the payment ASKED FOR US TO LEAVE A TIP. Listen, I’m all about tipping, as I am a server back home. BUT I would NEVER ask for a tip or assume I was getting one. That turned us right off. We felt obligated to leave a tip, which we did, but I understand that tipping is not expected in Italy. We thought that was extremely unprofessional. If they did not do this, they would have earned the 5 star review. So, to sum it up, yes it’s a wonderful little spot, but heads up, they EXPECT you to tip.

Danny Milan: Booked dinner for a special birthday for my wife in Rome. The entire experience- from the lovely food to the professional service, was exceptional. The rooftop restaurant is romantic and has charm. The saxophonist playing away quietly in the venue was a nice touch. At booking requested a special table which was granted. I also appreciated the dessert for my wife coming out with a lit candle as a nice birthday surprise. The staff were friendly and attentive. It is not an inexpensive restaurant but for this level of dining experience it was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Anna Maria Giblin: and got 5 different plates. The atmosphere was excellent, we had the most stunning view of the colosseum at sunset. The service was also amazing!! Our waiter was so accommodating and even gave us a free limoncello shot at the end of the meal. Please come here if you want a romantic evening in Rome!

Keshia Jeantel: Usually a restaurant just steps away from a major attraction like the Colosseum is tourist trap, riddled with uninspired and bland food with expensive prices because of the proximity and convenience. This gem is just the opposite! A meal so good, 7 years later we still talk about it and recommend it to any and all friends and family visiting Rome. We had the linguine alle vongole, the salmon entree and a margarita pizza. The menu has since changed but I don’t think you can go wrong with a meal at this charming restaurant with an amazing view.

Amatriciana e cacio e pepe super e anche i saltimbocca buonissimi. Ottima la scelta dei vini e molta attenzione al cliente. Ellen Morgan: The food was top tier! For the main course I’d give a special mention to the vongole and the lamb chops, as well as the Black Sea food pasta. All good was very tasty and also was served quickly! The desserts were incredible and homemade, we had the tiramisu, chocolate fondant and crème brûlée which all were some of the best we’ve had. The service was okay don’t get me wrong, however the atmosphere was quite stressed and the servers had a lot to do which was quite apparent. There also was very slim opportunity’s to sit outside, but the downstairs area was fine and decorated with lovely art!
