Irma Zandl: This cemetery was very near to my hotel in San Lorenzo and it is beautiful. I had to cut my visit short because of an impending thunderstorm but I could have spent at least an hour here. I don't think it's worth coming to San Lorenzo if you are visiting Rome for only a few days but if you have some extra time, and if history and monuments are your thing, 100% worth checking out.

There are tombs of very important characters of Rome, such as the actor Alberto Sordi, or the actress Elena Fabrizi, in Arte Sora Lella. But also important tombs in the previous history of the city. Located in a fairly central position, next to the popular district of San Lorenzo and the La Sapienza University of Rome, it represents a notable place in the capital for historical and documentary importance.
