Flavia Tondi: We had dinner at the Veg Le Bistrot restaurant last night.Refined and welcoming atmosphere.An important thing and much appreciated in the summer: perfect air conditioning, with the foresight of the jet directed upwards through a panel so that it does not disturb the tables.Top service.Excellent cuisine: appetizers, matriciana-style goodies, meatballs with sauce, side dish and superlative desserts. We had vada, idli combo, Mysore masala dosa, cheese dosa and onion dosa. Taste is authentic and all the chutneys are very well prepared. Everything was the way I had imagined. The dips were so similar to real MayoThen we had pizza, cannelloni, and pasta alla gricia. These meals were the best meals we had during our week in Rome, hands down. I was worried they would taste too “yeasty” as this is often the case trying vegan cheesy dishes, but it was hard to tell the difference to this and real cheese!The staff were super friendly and helpful, they let us take a doggy bag home for our left overs. Thank you so much!100% recommend. We’ve been trying to cook these dinners ourselves since we got back. If we ever go back to Rome this will be one of the first restaurants we go to 😊
